A Wonderful Afternoon with NB4U at Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church
We had a wonderful time yesterday at the Baptist Church for our regular monthly NB4U gathering. It was a joyful afternoon filled with good company, laughter, and delicious food.
A lovely ploughman’s lunch was enjoyed by everyone, with a fantastic selection of dishes to choose from. Our heartfelt thanks go to Bev, who kindly transported most of the food in her little car, and to our generous guests who brought along some delicious cakes to share.
The children had great fun taking part in creative art activities and building an impressive bamboo structure – a big thank you to Peppy for organising and leading these sessions.
One of our guests shared this touching message:
“Thank you all for arranging these events over the last few years. They have enabled us to meet other Ukrainians and support each other.”
We couldn’t agree more. These gatherings have become such a valuable opportunity for connection, friendship, and mutual support.
None of this would be possible without our wonderful volunteers, the ongoing support of Birmingham City Council, and the generosity of Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church, who provide us with such a welcoming venue every month.
We’re already looking forward to our next get-together!
