The beauty of Great Britain for Ukrainians

Places we have visited

  • York

A city where ancient walls surround incredible local businesses, attractions, shops, accommodation and eateries, with exciting events every day and inspiring festivals every month of the year. Perfectly placed half-way between London and Edinburgh and with the glorious Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Wolds right on the doorstep, York is unlike any other English city. There’s thirty world-class museums you can explore, the best racecourse in the country and a thriving cultural scene.
  • Barmouth

Barmouth’s location on the west coast of North Wales and lying between a mountain range and the sea on the mouth of the river Mawddach is arguably one of the most beautiful locations in Wales. It rests just within the south west corner of Snowdonia National Park and is steeped in a history rich with connections to the shipping and slate industries.
  • London

London is layered with history, where medieval and Victorian complement a rich and vibrant modern world. The Tower of London and Westminster neighbour local pubs and markets, and time-worn rituals like the changing of the guards take place as commuters rush to catch the Tube. It’s a place where travellers can time-hop through the city, and when they’re weary, do as Londoners do and grab a “cuppa” tea.
  • Houses of Parliament

The Palace of Westminster is the meeting place of the Parliament of the United Kingdom and is located in London, England. It is commonly called the Houses of Parliament after the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two legislative chambers which occupy the building.
  • Weston-super-Mare

Weston-super-Mare is a seaside resort, located on the Bristol Channel coast at the gateway to the South West of England and boasts one of the largest naturally occurring beaches in the UK; it is a long, sandy beach that has a high tidal range.
  • Oxford

Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. With its mix of ancient and modern, there is plenty for both the tourist and resident to do.
