A Wonderful Festive Celebration for North Birmingham 4 Birmingham
We were delighted to host a truly joyful Christmas celebration, bringing together families, volunteers and partners for an afternoon full of warmth, music and festive spirit.
The event would not have been possible without the generous support of Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust (SCCT), whose funding enabled us to provide a fabulous buffet. The delicious food was expertly prepared by Westwoods Kitchen, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone attending.
A very special highlight for our younger guests was the visit from Father Christmas and his elf, who brought smiles to every face and made sure that each child received a gift on the day. The excitement and joy this created was wonderful to see.
The programme was rich and varied, showcasing the incredible talents within our community. We were treated to beautiful dance performances by the children’s dance group, with heartfelt thanks to their teacher, Iryna, for her dedication and hard work. The afternoon also featured poetry readings from both adults and children, as well as a moving piano performance, adding to the festive atmosphere.
We are also extremely grateful to Toys4Birmingham, who provided Christmas Day gifts for families to take home, ensuring that the celebrations will continue well beyond the event itself.
A huge thank you goes to all our volunteers, whose time, energy and commitment made the day run so smoothly. Most of all, it was a pleasure to see people enjoying one another’s company, sharing laughter, and celebrating together as a community.
This event was a wonderful reminder of the power of collaboration, generosity and togetherness during the festive season. We look forward to many more moments like this in the future.
