Basic Life Support Session

We had a very informative session on Saturday delivered by the CPR Counts team from Sutton Coldfield.

During the session we learned vital skills that could save someone’s life in an emergency, including what to do if a person has a heart attack, stops breathing or begins choking.

A big thank you to the CPR Counts team for giving up their time to teach us. We highly recommend attending one of their training sessions – the knowledge and confidence you gain is invaluable.

Welcome to Autumn Event

On September 20th we had our monthly get-together at #SCBC. NB4U are very lucky to have this wonderful meeting space every month and we are truly grateful.

This time, over 50 Ukrainians, volunteers and sponsors came together to enjoy each other’s company and share some delicious pizza. Many thanks go to everyone who helped at the event – we really appreciate all our volunteers.

We were delighted to be joined by Peppy and Nicky from #BeaconFamilyServices, who ran a fun and engaging session for our young people. The pizza received lots of compliments, and we were able to congratulate all our young people who achieved excellent GCSE results, as well as wish those moving from primary to secondary school every success.

Don’t forget, we meet on the third Saturday of every month and everyone is welcome. In addition, we run ESOL classes every Monday, dance sessions on Mondays, conversation classes on Fridays, and tennis on Sundays.

We also provide support with finding accommodation for people who wish to live independently.
